Get my line barred because not yet over due bill payment . When want to do report and do payment, I have been ignored since the COVID-19 started. Then I change to line Digi So what should I do now? Report?

I was having the same issue, their will also engage with third party debt collector to chase you.

Instead of replying to those message, you go to nearest branch of your service provider and enquire for any pending charges.

Then for the third party, you just reply that you paid direct to the client and ask them to confirm on their side.

Do insist of soft copy invoice of the branch payment else the third party will not stop chasing.

Not scam. They employ debt collector.
They gave you Biller code, that means the money can only go to Maxis.
I received similar one from UniFi. I know I have terminated the account.
Turns out, it was my mistake, they did close my account but I did not clear the last remaining balance.
They closed my account early due to me moving overseas.

So no. Either pay or call up maxis to clarify if you or them yang salah.

Its not illegal btw to have unpaid debts. They cant saman you RM5000, and I’ve never heard of a court case where the guy didint pay his utility and then get saman for it. The most you can be sued for is the amount you owe, not even the lawyer fees to do so. Also, legit lawyers usually charge about RM500-800 per letter, so keep that in mind.

Best case is Maxis just put you on a blacklist and whomever listens to them wont let you open account with them. Just ignore this message and block the number if they’re harassing you. If they show up at your house just say your brother moved out of state years ago and you havent seen him in years. But dont identify yourself or your brother as the person they’re looking for.

A lot of red flag there :

  1. Misspelling the word current
  2. Spelling of the word handphone instead of phone
  3. Format of the due date look so unprofessional
  4. The phone number is a personal number
  5. Any payment of bill should be through the Maxis app, there shouldn’t be an instance where you need to enter the bank number yourself

All in all, the text messages looks like a high schooler written all over it.

This looks like scam. Just check your maxis app and pay from there or go to maxis store settle there

I am also Maxis customer. Never get any of this type of threat. Maxis will not cut the lines immediately. There is a grace period and then they will just stop the service unlike the third party asking for receipt and acc number. I would cut off their service since I have no contract obligation. I would just terminate them. Period.

They will keep chasing you (by different 3rd party) if you don’t clear it.

OK a lot of question first when? COVID-19 is years before and why they do not send message month after overdue payment/debt?

2nd.Is it real maxis?(comments says yes but no verified checkmark) EITHER WAY BEST IS GO TO PHYSICAL STORE ASK QUESTION or just telephone real official maxis.
