As the title implied I’m a foreigner (EU national) working in Malaysia, and my contract will expire end of June after 2 years. My company offered to extend, but I’ve decided to move on to another country.
Now our HR is nice and trying, but overall often overwhelmed and rather helpless. I was the first and so far only foreign hire and they were not very well prepared during the onboarding process, and I’m afraid not much has changed since.
So I wanted to check if anyone of you has a checklist of things I need to take care of to make the exit smooth and uncomplicated?
